[LG Chem's Operating Profit Declines by 34.3% YoY in Q2] On July 25, LG Chem released its financial results for the second quarter of 2024, reporting sales of KRW 12.2997 trillion and an operating profit of KRW 405.9 billion. Compared to the previous quarter, sales and operating profit increased by 5.9% and 53.4%, respectively. However, when compared to the same period last year, sales and operating profit declined by 14.2% and 34.3%, respectively.
