Beijing (Gasgoo)- On July 25, DEEPAL, Changan Automobile's new energy vehicle brand, officially put the S07 model onto the market, with prices ranging from 149,900 yuan to 212,900 yuan. The S07 is available in both battery electric (BEV) and range-extended (REEV) versions, with some trim levels equipped with Huawei's Qiankun intelligent driving assistance system.

The DEEPAL S07 maintains the brand's family design language, featuring sleek LED headlights and a closed front grille, with a consistent front design across both BEV and REEV versions. The car includes frameless doors, electric pop-up door handles, and semi-enclosed wheels, available in seven body colors. The rear design boasts a full-width LED light cluster and a single-point brake light on top.

Measuring 4,750mm in length, 1,930mm in width, and 1,625mm in height, with a 2,900mm wheelbase, the S07 shares its dimensions with the DEEPAL S7 model. The S07 REEV offers four variants, while the S07 BEV has two, differing primarily in safety, intelligent driving, power, and range features.

The DEEPAL S07 models equipped with Huawei's Qiankun ADS SE intelligent driving system add six ultrasonic radars, a front camera, and four side cameras, enabling advanced highway navigation assistance and smart parking. This system supports smart lane changes, obstacle avoidance, curve handling, speed adjustment, and ramp navigation, with over 160 parking scenarios covered.

Inside, the S07 features a dashboard-free design (AR-HUD), a 15.6-inch central control screen, and a 12.3-inch passenger screen. It uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and Deepal OS onboard system, with three interior color options. The top-spec variants offer additional features like perforated leather seats, 64-color ambient lighting, 50W wireless charging, electric suction doors, 16-way adjustable driver’s seat with 8-point massage, 14-way adjustable passenger seat with leg support, a 14-speaker audio system, and electric sunshades.

The S07 REEV has a respective CLTC-rated battery-powered ranges of 125km, 215km, and 285km, with a combined range of up to 1,200km. In the state of depleted battery, it maintains a low fuel consumption of 4.9L/100km under CLTC conditions. The S07 BEV offers CLTC ranges of 520km and 628km, equipped with Changan Automobile’ proprietary Golden Shield Battery 2.0 and 3C fast charging, which allows the vehicle to charge to 80% of its capacity in 15 minutes.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
