BAIC Group delivers first 300 EU5 electric vehicles to Tajikistan

BAIC Group recently signed an agreement at the BAIC Zhuzhou factory for an order of 1,000 EU5 electric vehicles to be offered to Tajikistan, the automaker announced via its WeChat account.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- BAIC Group recently signed an agreement at the BAIC Zhuzhou factory for an order of 1,000 EU5 electric vehicles to be offered to Tajikistan, the automaker announced via its WeChat account.

At the same time, the first batch of the 300 EU5 vehicles was delivered to Dushanbe, Tajikistan, to serve as green taxis, providing eco-friendly transportation for local residents.

During the delivery ceremony, Yang Nanhua, General Manager of BAIC International, highlighted BAIC's achievements in the new energy vehicle sector and expressed optimism about future collaborations. He emphasized BAIC's commitment to working with Tajik partners to promote green mobility and support Tajikistan's sustainable development goals.

Saidzoda Firdavs, Deputy Mayor of Dushanbe, praised the friendly relations and fruitful cooperation between China and Tajikistan. He expressed high regard for BAIC's advanced electric taxis and looked forward to deeper collaborations in various fields to drive the green development of Dushanbe and the entire country.

As a flagship model of BAIC's new energy vehicles, the EU5 is widely used in green transportation operations in China. This delivery signifies the integration of eco-friendly, energy-efficient, and high-performance electric taxis into Dushanbe's transportation system, offering convenient and comfortable green travel options for local citizens.
