ZEEKR 001, X models hit Mexican market

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- ZEEKR, the smart electric vehicle brand under Geely Holding, announced on July 21 via its Sina Weibo account that its two key models, the ZEEKR 001 and the ZEEKR X, have already hit the Mexican market, further strengthening its presence on the global stage. 

In the Mexican market, the ZEEKR 001 is priced starting at 988,000 Mexican pesos, (approximately 397,700 yuan), while the ZEEKR X starts at 799,000 Mexican pesos (around 321,600 yuan).

In terms of performance and technology, the ZEEKR 001 is equipped with a high-performance permanent magnet synchronous motor that delivers a peak power of 400 kW. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and boasts a WLTP range of up to 620 kilometers. The ZEEKR X, on the other hand, features a power system with a total output of 315 kW and 543 N·m of torque, also achieving a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 3.8 seconds, with a WLTP range of 440 kilometers.

To date, ZEEKR has expanded into nearly 30 mainstream overseas markets, including Sweden, the Netherlands, Thailand, and Mexico. The company plans to extend its business reach to 50 countries and regions worldwide by the end of this year, covering key markets in Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, and Australia. It regards Europe as a major focus for its global expansion, with plans to enter eight countries by 2025.
