Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On July 19, ZEEKR, the premium electric vehicle brand under Geely Holding, put the refreshed version of its ZEEKR 009 flagship MPV model, the All New ZEEKR 009, onto the market. The new product is available in both seven-seat and six-seat layouts, offering three trim levels priced between 439,000 yuan and 469,000 yuan. Deliveries are set to begin on July 22.

The All New ZEEKR 009 maintains the exterior design of the current model on sale. The vertically arranged daytime running lights mimic the grille style of traditional oil-fueled vehicles, giving it an appearance reminiscent of Rolls-Royce grilles. Notably, the All New ZEEKR 009 will also feature LiDAR sensor.

The All New ZEEKR 009 adopts a short front cabin design, with roof and waist lines extending naturally upwards, creating an ascending trend.

The vehicle measures 5,217 mm in length, 2,024 mm in width, and 1,812 mm (1,864 mm) in height, with a wheelbase of 3,205 mm.

The rear of the vehicle retains its avant-garde mechanical design, with a robust visual effect enhanced by the chrome and extensive light bead layout, adding a sense of high-end luxury.

The interior of the All New ZEEKR 009 continues the layout of the existing model, while adding a new 35.95-inch AR-HUD (head-up display) system. Additionally, the new model boasts a redesigned starry sky panel and includes a temperature-controlled refrigerator.

The All New ZEEKR 009 offers both six-seat and seven-seat layouts. The seven-seat version includes a central aisle, while the six-seat version features a leg support behind the front passenger seat, providing a more comfortable seating position when combined with the second-row seats.

The All New ZEEKR 009 adds a rear-wheel-drive version with maximum power options of 250 kW and 310 kW. The four-wheel-drive models also offer two power options: the base model has front and rear motor powers of 200 kW and 250 kW, respectively, while the higher-spec model has front and rear motor powers of 270 kW and 310 kW, respectively.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
