On July 17, Chery officially commenced pre-sale of its new flagship model in the Tiggo family, the Tiggo 8L, with a starting price of 147,700 yuan.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On July 17, Chery officially commenced pre-sale of its new flagship model in the Tiggo family, the Tiggo 8L, with a starting price of 147,700 yuan.

The Tiggo 8L smart family SUV is designed to cater to family travel needs. It offers a spacious and flexible 5+2 seating configuration with 12 adjustable space settings, ensuring comfort for all passengers. The vehicle also easily accommodates outdoor gear like fishing equipment, camping equipment, and snowboards, making it suitable for various travel scenarios. Additionally, the Tiggo 8L features luxury amenities such as zero-gravity reclining seats and exceptional NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) performance, providing an extremely comfortable experience for users.

In terms of smart technology, the Tiggo 8L is equipped with a 15.6-inch multimedia screen with 2.5K resolution, offering clear and detailed visuals. Powered by the Qualcomm 8155 chip, the system ensures smooth operation and supports online entertainment, navigation, smartphone connectivity, voice interaction, app downloads, and OTA updates. Other features include 540° transparent chassis, SONY audio system, and multi-color ambient lighting.

The Tiggo 8L boasts an advanced L2.5 intelligent driving assistance system with 19 functions, including rear cross-traffic braking, rear approach warning, lane keeping, lane departure assistance, blind-spot monitoring, door opening warning, traffic sign recognition, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking.

The Tiggo 8L is powered by Chery's self-developed Kunpeng 2.0T engine paired with the Fuzhen 8AT transmission, achieving 0-100 km/h acceleration in approximately 8 seconds. This combination delivers smooth and efficient performance across various driving conditions. The vehicle also features an all-terrain intelligent control four-wheel-drive system, offering three basic driving modes and four off-road modes. Whether navigating through mud, sand, or snow, the robust four-wheel-drive system ensures off-road capability comparable to off-road vehicles, meeting users' occasional off-road camping needs.
