NIO Energy shares charging facilities with Huawei HIMA’s users

On July 17, NIO Energy and Huawei's Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA) officially announced a collaboration to improve charging services.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On July 17, NIO Energy and Huawei's Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA) officially announced a collaboration to improve charging services.

According to the agreement, starting from July 17, HIMA users can locate and use NIO Energy charging stations nationwide via the HIMA App, AITO App, and the in-car systems of AITO, LUXEED, and STELATO-branded vehicles. This partnership aims to significantly enhance the charging experience and efficiency for users.

NIO Energy offers a comprehensive smart charging service that covers the full process from locating a charging station to payment. Users can access real-time information about the location, pricing, status, usage, and customer reviews of NIO Energys charging stations via the NIO App, NIO Power App, and NIO in-car systems, facilitating quick and informed charging decisions.

Additionally, NIO Energy has established a nationwide charging network that is open for sharing across the entire automobile industry. As of July 17, it has set up 3,904 charging stations and 22,822 charging piles across China, with an average daily availability rate of 99.72%.

Currently, over 80% of the electricity by NIO's charging services is utilized by users of other brands. NIO has achieved charging interoperability with several major automobile brands, including HIMA, Hongqi, DEEPAL, GAC AION, IM Motors, ZEEKR, Lotus, Cadillac, Buick, and XPENG.
