NETA Auto releases images of NETA S model’s shooting braking edition

NETA Auto's CEO Zhang Yong recently released a set of official images of the NETA S' shooting brake edition (called NETA S Shooting Brake for short) via his Sina Weibo account.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- NETA Auto's CEO Zhang Yong recently released a set of official images of the NETA Sshooting brake edition (called "NETA S Shooting Brake" for short) via his Sina Weibo account. The new model is expected to hit the market in August this year.

Built on the upgraded 2.0 version of the Shanhai platform, the NETA S Shooting Braking promises significant improvements in overall product capabilities. The vehicle has gained regulatory approval from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

In terms of exterior design, the front of the NETA S Shooting Brake closely resembles the existing standard NETA S, featuring a distinctive split-type headlight design that enhances its recognizability. The main difference lies in the addition of chrome accents on the lower air intake, which add a touch of sophistication to the vehicle's appearance.

The side profile of the NETA S Shooting Brake showcases sleek, flowing lines with a rear-biased visual weight, highlighting the elegant aesthetics typical of station wagons. The car is equipped with the Haozhi skateboard chassis technology, featuring an integrated front and rear body casting and an integrated energy cabin design. It is also expected to come with an air suspension system. The car measures 4,980mm in length, 1,980mm in width, and 1,480mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,980mm.

Under the hood, the NETA S Shooting Brake will utilize an 800V high-voltage architecture combined with a SiC integrated electric motor. The all-electric rear-wheel-drive version will have a combined motor power of 250kW. The range-extended version will feature a 1.5L Atkinson cycle engine paired with a flat-wire generator.
