Shanghai (Gasgoo)- ZEEKR, the premium electric vehicle brand under Geely Holding, recently stated it has started official sales in Thailand, marking the global launch of its right-hand drive ZEEKR X model, according to a post on ZEEKR's WeChat account.

The company also announced plans to establish 14 stores across Thailand by the end of 2024, aiming to provide comprehensive services and after-sales support to Thai customers.

Currently, four ZEEKR pop-up stores in Bangkok's commercial districts have already commenced operations.

Back in March this year, ZEEKR declared via its official WeChat account that the right-hand drive version of the ZEEKR X had been unveiled in the Thai market and was available for pre-order, with deliveries expected to begin in the third quarter of 2024.

The standard version of the right-hand drive ZEEKR X is priced at 1,199,000 Thai Baht (approximately 240,000 yuan), while the flagship version is priced at 1,349,000 Thai Baht (approximately 270,000 yuan). World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
