HOUMO.AI nabs hundreds of millions of yuan for AI chip development

Recently, integrated storage and computing AI chip company HOUMO.AI completed a strategic financing round worth hundreds of millions of yuan, with investment from funds under China Mobile.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Recently, integrated storage and computing AI chip company HOUMO.AI completed a strategic financing round worth hundreds of millions of yuan, with investment from funds under China Mobile.

Additionally, China Mobile Research Institute and HOUMO.AI signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly advance the innovation and mass production of integrated AI chips. HOUMO.AI has now become a key supported company within the China Mobile ecosystem for edge-end large model chips.

China Mobile Research Institute will leverage its advantages in integrated storage and computing algorithm R&D and market promotion, focusing on product demand analysis, edge-side large model research, new product design, and exploration of new scenarios. It will also promote the establishment and standardization of software toolchains.

HOUMO.AI will utilize its expertise in the development of integrated storage and computing chips, providing diverse computing power support and innovative solutions for the deployment and application of large models at the edge.

Together, they will explore new product forms for edge-side large models in scenarios such as government and enterprise integrated model machines, AI PCs, home computing boxes, robots, and industrial inspection terminals. They will also work to commercialize these products.

Founded in 2020, HOUMO.AI focuses on the architectural innovation of integrated storage and computing chips. These chips aim to enhance system integration and performance efficiency by combining computing and storage capabilities on a single chip. This integration reduces communication delays between components and improves overall system performance, while also decreasing system size, increasing reliability, and enhancing efficiency.
