Shanghai (Gasgoo)- ZEEKR, the premium electric vehicle brand under Geely Holding, recently released official images of the new ZEEKR 009 and announced that the vehicle will hit the market on July 19.
The new ZEEKR 009 will introduce a new green paint option and a seven-seat configuration, along with upgraded second-row seat functionalities. There are also some adjustments in its powertrain. According to information filed with China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, certain configurations of the new ZEEKR 009 will feature a rear axle drive motor with a maximum power of 250 kW.
The new ZEEKR 009 retains the bold and commanding exterior design language of the existing MPV model. The front end is characterized by a large chrome grille flanked by split-type headlamp units, creating a distinctive and recognizable look. Additionally, the front bumper and other details are adorned with chrome and glossy black elements.
The vehicle's side profile showcases a design dominated by straight lines, with a prominent side waistline extending from the front fender to the rear, paired with large multi-spoke wheels that exude luxury. The new ZEEKR 009 also features a glossy black roof and chrome accents on the door handles.
At the rear, the car sports a full-width LED taillight assembly with a "ZEEKR" badge at the center, offering high visibility when illuminated.
In terms of dimensions, the new ZEEKR 009 measures 5,217 mm in length, 2,024 mm in width, and 1,812 mm (or 1,864 mm) in height, with a wheelbase of 3,205 mm. The vehicle also offers optional features such as LC glass, LiDAR, and various wheel designs. Models equipped with LiDAR may adopt the same smart driving system as the ZEEKR 001.
Although the new vehicle's price has not been announced yet, for reference, the existing ZEEKR 009 is available in three variants, with a price range of 500,000 yuan to 789,000 yuan.
