Zinnwald has increased the estimated mineral resources of its German lithium project by approximately 50%. Foreign media reported on July 12 that Zinnwald Lithium, a company focused on Germany, announced that the estimated mineral resources of its flagship project in the eastern state of Saxony have been increased by about 50%. Previously, the company expected an initial annual production of 12,000 tons, but now this figure has been raised to 16,000 to 18,000 tons of battery-grade lithium. Zinnwald plans to conduct a pre-feasibility study based on this new assessment, aiming to promote the expansion of the project and explore the possibility of second-phase production. The company stated that while conducting technical tests and evaluations, it will also focus on minimizing the impact on the environment and the community. The pre-feasibility study is expected to be completed within the first three months of 2025.
