[SMM Daily Comment: Lithium Carbonate Prices Dipped Slightly on July 10] The SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate index stood at 90,115 yuan per ton, down 157 yuan per ton from the previous working day. The price range for battery-grade lithium carbonate was 88,100 to 92,600 yuan per ton, with an average price of 90,400 yuan per ton, down 100 yuan per ton from the previous working day. Industrial-grade lithium carbonate ranged from 84,800 to 86,100 yuan per ton, averaging at 85,500 yuan per ton, a decrease of 100 yuan per ton from the previous working day. Today's spot trading of lithium carbonate remained relatively subdued. Upstream lithium salt manufacturers offered fewer spot prices and maintained a certain firm price for fixed-price offers. There were many inquiries and offers in futures and spot trading, but actual transactions were relatively weak. From the perspective of downstream buyers, cathode material procurement sentiment was relatively weak. There is a certain gap between the psychological prices of upstream and downstream enterprises, and they are currently in a certain game. The price center still dipped slightly due to a small number of transactions between some upstream and downstream enterprises with prices lower than those in the early stage.
