Beijing (Gasgoo)- On July 8, Chinese new energy vehicle maker Li Auto announced that deliveries of its Li L7 SUV has surpassed 200,000 units in just 16 months.

The Li L7, launched on February 8 last year, began deliveries on March 11, and reached 100,000-units deliveries by November 7 of the same year. The 2024 model was released in March this year, and the vehicle has now achieved this significant milestone.

The Li L7, the third model in the Li Auto L series, is positioned as a mid-to-large-sized SUV and is the company’s first five-seater SUV. It is available in three variants, the Pro, Max, and Ultra. Except for the Li L7 Pro model, the others are equipped with Hesai Technology’s LiDAR, featuring Li Auto’s ADMax intelligent driving system.

In terms of design, the Li L7 maintains the distinctive style of the L series, with a continuous light strip on the front and split headlamps integrated into the front bumper, giving the vehicle a highly recognizable front appearance.

Inside, the Li L7 boasts a second-row seat cushion length of 520mm. It comes standard with electric lumbar support for the second row, which can also fold forward with the push of a button, transforming the five-seat layout into a large bed measuring 1.5 meters wide and 2.4 meters long.

Under the hood, the Li L7 features a 1.5T four-cylinder engine as a range extender and dual electric motors providing the main power. The engine delivers a maximum power of 113 kW (154 hp), while the total power of the electric motors is 330 kW (449 hp), allowing the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds. The Li L7 is available with two battery options, 42.8 kWh and 52.3 kWh, offering a CLTC-rated battery-powered range of 225 km and 286 km, respectively, and a combined range of up to 1,421 km.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
