Nanjing Public Utilities, Ganfeng Lithium, and Environmental Group plan to establish a joint venture to build a waste battery recycling base with an annual processing capacity of 300,000 tons in Jiangsu Province. On the evening of July 5, Nanjing Public Utilities issued an announcement announcing that the three parties would sign a 'Strategic Cooperation Agreement' to conduct comprehensive cooperation in the fields of waste battery recycling and lithium battery applications. The registered capital of the joint venture is 100 million yuan, with Nanjing Public Utilities and Ganfeng Lithium each holding 35% shares and the Environmental Group holding 30% shares. The company will establish a waste battery recycling base with an annual processing capacity of 300,000 tons in Jiangsu Province in three phases. The first phase has a processing capacity of 30,000 tons with an investment of 100 million yuan; the second phase has a processing capacity of 70,000 tons with an investment of 250 million yuan; and the third phase has a processing capacity of 200,000 tons with an investment of 650 million yuan, totaling 1 billion yuan. The future production capacity scale can be adjusted according to market demand.
