Beijing (Gasgoo)- On July 4, Chinese Ethernet chip developer EtlChip announced the completion of its Pre-A++ round of financing, led by Cornerstone Ventures.

This funding comes just two months after the company’s previous round. To date, EtlChip has raised several hundred million yuan in its Pre-A rounds, with investors including Hatchip Capital, Delian Capital, Jucheng Capital, a fund backed by FAW Group and Leaguer Capital, Pengchen Investment, CAS Star, Cowin Capital, and Cornerstone Ventures. The new funds will primarily support EtlChip’s product development.

Founded in 2022, EtlChip has launched a complete set of automotive-grade TSN Ethernet chips, covering all application scenarios for automotive Ethernet. This new product line represents another significant milestone in the automotive chip industry. Previously, the company's industrial-grade Ethernet chips passed comprehensive TSN testing and rigorous environmental tests (including high and low-temperature cycles) conducted by several listed companies, and are now being shipped in bulk to multiple clients.

EtlChip is also focusing on domain controller Ethernet switch chips in the automotive Ethernet chip market, aiming to become a global leader in intelligent automotive communication chips. The newly launched products meet industry-leading standards and surpass several performance parameters of international competitors. The EtlChip team boasts over 20 years of experience in the Ethernet chip sector, having established Ethernet chip product lines at major global companies, making them a rare and valuable resource in the industry.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
