China Secures Largest Commercial-Industrial User-Side Energy Storage Project with 630MWh Capacity

[630MWh! The largest commercial and industrial user-side energy storage power station in China has been signed and landed!] SMM has learned that on July 1st, Desay Battery and Shenghong Technology signed the "Project Cooperation Agreement for the 121MW/630MWh Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery Energy Storage Power Station at Shenghong Technology Industrial Park" in Huizhou.

According to the content of the agreement between the two parties, they will cooperate to build the 121MW/630MWh Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery Energy Storage Power Station project at Shenghong Technology Industrial Park. This project is currently the largest user-side energy storage power station to be built in the country, located in Huizhou, Guangdong Province. It plans to build 47 battery rooms of 13.418MWh each, equipped with 1,689 energy storage battery cabinets. After its completion and operation, it is expected to achieve an annual average energy storage discharge capacity of about 170 million kWh.
