[Yuneng: The Layout of Copper Smelting Project Can Consume Sulfuric Acid and Reduce Phosphoric Acid Costs] On July 2, Hunan Yuneng released an investor relations activity record, indicating that its latest copper smelting project will innovatively combine the high coupling of the copper smelting industry with the phosphate cathode material industry, forming complementary advantages in the industry and helping the company achieve the goal of extreme cost reduction in the phosphate cathode material business. At the same time, the company chose to locate the copper smelting project in Guizhou, mainly due to its strong capacity in sulfuric acid consumption, which also helps reduce the procurement cost of phosphoric acid. The project adopts pyrometallurgy, characterized by strong adaptability to raw materials, low energy consumption, high efficiency, and high metal recovery rate. It is an encouraged project in the non-ferrous metal industry listed in the Guidance Catalog for Industrial Restructuring (2024 Edition) (Order No. 7 of the National Development and Reform Commission).
