The alloy industry composite PMI in May was 50.01%, above the 50 mark. Among them, the production index was 50%, the new order index was 51.03%, and the product inventory index was 49.5%. During May, civil alloy orders showed an upward trend, primarily because May is the traditional peak season for the industry and raw material prices significantly declined compared to April. The raw material demand also increased. According to the SMM survey, downstream demand for nickel alloy was greatly influenced by raw material prices. It is expected that the alloy industry PMI in June is expected to rise slightly due to nickel prices.
