Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On June 28, NETA Auto officially put the NETA L model's battery electric vehicle (BEV) edition onto the market, with three trim levels priced between 139,900 yuan and 162,900 yuan.

This car features CTB (cell-to-body) technology and is equipped with CATL's Shenxing cells and NETA Auto's self-developed Haozhi integrated heat pump thermal management system, offering a CLTC-rated range of 510km. Deliveries will begin in July.

In terms of design, the NETA L BEV is consistent with the extended-range version. The front end features a sloping design, giving it an aggressive look, while the closed front grille, combined with the headlamp units and air intakes on both sides, forms an "X" shape, making the front more distinctive. The lower part of the grille is decorated with a dot-matrix chrome metal finish.

The side of the car adopts a minimalist design with a contrasting black roof, achieving a two-tone body style. The NETA L also features trendy hidden door handles, which not only reduce air drag but also enhance aesthetics. The car's dimensions are 4,770/1,900/1,660mm (length/width/height) with a wheelbase of 2,810mm.

Inside, the NETA L BEV has a wrap-around cockpit design, creating a clean and comfortable interior. Like many new energy vehicles, it uses a column-mounted gear selector. The dashboard is equipped with two 15.6-inch screens powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, providing a smoother operation experience. The screen on the right serves as an entertainment display for the front passenger, supporting popular apps like iQiyi and QQ Music, all controllable via voice commands. Additionally, the car offers a 6.6L capacity independent compressor refrigerator with a temperature control range of -6°C to 50°C.

In terms of power, the NETA L BEV is equipped with a single rear-mounted motor, delivering a maximum power of 170kW and a peak torque of 310 N·m. It uses a 68kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, providing a CLTC range of 510km. Charging from 10% to 80% SOC takes only 21 minutes. The car can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 7.6 seconds.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
