Beijing (Gasgoo)- On June 28, autonomous driving tech company Zelos launched its new 2024 Z5 self-driving logistics delivery vehicle model, featuring Hesai Technology's AT128 LiDAR.

Hesai Technology will be the exclusive LiDAR supplier for this model, collaborating with Zelos to pioneer the application of automotive-grade semi-solid-state LiDAR in the Level-4 (L4) autonomous logistics field.

The newly launched 2024 Z5 autonomous vehicle from Zelos is equipped with four Hesai AT128 LiDAR. Each LiDAR integrates 128 lasers, delivering an ultra-high point frequency of 1.53 million points per second for high-precision 3D scanning of the surrounding environment. This technology enables the Z5 to better plan routes and avoid obstacles intelligently.

Since the AT128's mass production began in 2022, Hesai's LiDAR has powered numerous popular passenger vehicle models, with over 300,000 units delivered by the first quarter of this year. Having proven its reliability in the ADAS market, the strategic partnership with Zelos will further enhance the commercial deployment of L4 autonomous logistics through the AT128's robust product capabilities and production capacity.

As a tech company in urban autonomous delivery vehicle development and application, Zelos possesses fully self-developed L4 autonomous driving technology, encompassing R&D, product design, and commercialization, effectively addressing challenges in the emerging urban B2B logistics market. Zelos' smart logistics vehicles are renowned for their superior performance and cost-effectiveness, and their operational model has been validated in urban logistics scenarios.
