Beijing (Gasgoo)- On June 25, Geely Holding-backed LEVC put the L380 all-electric large luxury MPV onto the market. The L380 is available in four variants, priced between 379,900 yuan and 479,900 yuan.

The L380's design, led by former Bentley designer Brett Boydell, draws inspiration from the aerodynamic engineering of the Airbus A380, featuring sleek, streamlined aesthetics that combine Eastern and Western design elements. The vehicle measures 5,316 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,940 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,185 mm.

The L380 boasts a 75% space utilization rate, surpassing the industry average by 8%, thanks to its Space Oriented Architecture (SOA). Its 1.9-meter integrated infinite sliding rail and industry-first rear sinking design provide increased cargo space of 163 liters. The interior offers flexible seating arrangements, from three to eight seats. Notably, even the third-row passengers can enjoy the comfort of individual seats, with the six-seat configuration allowing semi-reclining third-row seats and a spacious 200-mm distance between seats.

Inside, the L380 features a floating dashboard and central control screen. It supports digital interaction and is equipped with Level-4 autonomous driving technology. Additional smart connectivity features include satellite communication, onboard drones, and smart home integration.

Leveraging advanced AI large models, the L380 offers an innovative smart cabin experience. In collaboration with SenseAuto, LEVC has integrated cutting-edge AI solutions into the L380. This includes features like "AI Chat," “Wallpapers," and "Fairy Tale Illustrations," enhancing the user experience with industry-leading AI smart cabin technology.

The L380 offers both single and dual motor versions. The single motor model delivers a maximum power of 200 kW and a peak torque of 343 N·m. The dual motor all-wheel-drive version boasts 400 kW and 686 N·m. The vehicle is equipped with CATL's CTP (cell-to-pack) battery technology, available with 116 kWh and 140 kWh battery capacities. The L380 provides an all-electric range of up to 675 km and 805 km, respectively, under CLTC conditions. It also supports fast charging, taking just 30 minutes to charge from 10% to 80% to its battery capacity.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
