China Energy Engineering Group Wins Bid for Uzbekistan Wind Power Station Project Boosting Green Energy Transition

China Energy Engineering Group Xinjiang Electric Power Design Institute has successfully won the bidding for the project management task of the wind power station援助 Uzbekistan. The project is located in the Qarvaq District, Tashkent Oblast, Uzbekistan, 2 kilometers away from the left bank of the Qarvaq Reservoir and about 90 kilometers away from the capital city of Uzbekistan, Tashkent. The installed capacity of the project is 20 megawatts, including 4 wind turbines with a single capacity of 5 megawatts and supporting equipment, 1 35-kilovolt switchyard, about 3 kilometers of road reconstruction and about 2 kilometers of new roads outside the site, and 4 installation platforms for wind turbines inside the site. This project is expected to increase the proportion of clean energy, promote the green transformation and sustainable development of Uzbekistan's economy, and also enhance China's international influence in Central Asia.
