Beijing (Gasgoo)- On June 20, Chery officially launched the Fulwin T6, a compact plug-in hybrid electric SUV. The new model is available in three variants, with prices ranging from 129,900 yuan to 156,900 yuan.

The exterior design of the Fulwin T6 closely resembles the Chery Explore 06 C-DM, but features a closed front grille that emphasizes its new energy vehicle status. The SUV sports a floating roof design and hidden door handles. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,540 mm in length, 1,865 mm in width, and 1,670 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,672 mm. The rear of the vehicle has through-type taillights and a sporty checkered flag motif.

Inside, the Fulwin T6 continues the minimalist design trend, focusing on high-quality materials. It is equipped with a 14.8-inch floating central control screen powered by Qualcomm’s 8155 chip. The three-spoke multifunction steering wheel is wrapped in leather, complemented by a digital instrument panel and a head-up display (HUD). The dashboard features a through-type air conditioning vent design, a wireless charging pad, and a large storage compartment below the center console.

Powering the Fulwin T6 is a plug-in hybrid electric system that includes a 1.5T engine with a maximum power output of 115 kW and an electric motor generating up to 150 kW. The combined system output is 265 kW with a torque of 530 N·m. The vehicle uses a single-motor layout and is equipped with BYD's lithium iron phosphate battery. It offers a battery-powered range of 120 km under the CLTC cycle and a combined range of 1,300 km under the WLTC cycle. The battery can be fast-charged from 30% to 80% in 0.32 hours, and the fuel consumption rate is 4.9L/100km when the battery is depleted.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
