Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On June 21, ZEEKR, the premium electric vehicle brand under Geely Holding, held the delivery ceremony for the 200,000th ZEEKR 001 at its 5G smart factory.

The ZEEKR 001, the first model under the ZEEKR brand, is a mid-to-large pure electric vehicle that hit the market on April 15, 2021, with deliveries starting in October of the same year.

The significant vehicle is an All-New ZEEKR 001 (2024 ZEEKR 001) that went on sale on February 27. It features a front design similar to the ZEEKR 001 FR. The lower air intake has been widened, and the side air ducts are larger, giving the front a more aggressive look. The new two-tone alloy wheels have a unique and attractive design, with the largest wheel size being 22 inches. At the rear, the reflectors on both sides have been updated to a trapezoidal design similar to that of the ZEEKR 001 FR.

The car measures 4,977 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,545 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,005 mm.

Inside the vehicle, the All-New ZEEKR 001 features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip and the latest ZEEKR OS 6.0 system. It boasts a striking 15.05-inch 2.5K OLED central control screen and adds a 35.5-inch AR-HUD head-up display. Notably, the 2024 model also includes the satellite communication technology applied in the ZEEKR 001 FR, allowing for two-way satellite messaging and communication services.

In terms of power performance, the rear-wheel-drive version of the All-New ZEEKR 001 has a maximum power output of 310 kW and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. The all-wheel-drive version features a front motor with a maximum power of 270 kW and a rear motor with 310 kW, delivering a combined system power of 580 kW and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.3 seconds.

The 2024 ZEEKR 001 offers two battery options: a 100 kWh Qilin battery, which charges from 10% to 80% in just 15 minutes, and a 95 kWh Shenxing battery, which takes only 11.5 minutes for the same charge and adds 256 km of range with a 5-minute charge. Depending on the trim levels, the CLTC range options are 675 km, 705 km, and 750 km.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
