Kia Plans to Produce EV3 Model in Mexico for North American Market, Targeting US Tax Credits and Affordable Price

[Kia may produce EV3 in Mexico] Kia is developing the North American version of EV3 and will begin to produce the model at its factory in Monterrey, Mexico next year. This move may qualify EV3 for federal tax credits in the United States and keep its selling price in the United States at around US$30,000. Kia aims to start producing the model in the fourth quarter of 2025 and increase its production volume in Mexico to 110,000 units.

Recently, the Shanxi Yiye 150 MW/205 MWh standalone ESS, undertaken by Zhongrun Huarui Construction Co., Ltd., officially commenced construction in Beiwang Town, Fushan County, Linfen City, Shanxi Province.
