AITO accumulates 265 million kilometers of intelligent driving distance

The cumulative intelligent driving distance of AITO vehicles has reached 265 million kilometers, with a daily increase of approximately 2.35 million kilometers.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Recently, Mr. Zhang Xinghai, Chairman and Founder of Seres Group (SERES), delivered a keynote speech at the World Intelligence Expo 2024. He disclosed that to date, the cumulative intelligent driving distance of AITO vehicles has reached 265 million kilometers, with a daily increase of approximately 2.35 million kilometers.

According to recent data, SERES has completed 1.4 million OTA updates for its users, with updates occurring every five days. Currently, all AITO vehicles produced by SERES feature driving assistance functions, with two-thirds equipped with advanced intelligent driving capabilities, placing them at the forefront of the industry.

Three years ago, SERES began its cross-industry integration with ICT giant Huawei, collaborating on design and business operations to bring the market-approved AITO M5, M7, and M9 vehicles to consumers. Mr. Zhang stressed that this collaboration leverages the strengths of both companies, creating new technological advantages.

According to the automaker’s financial report, in 2023, SERES invested 4.438 billion yuan in R&D, which accounted for 12.38% of its operating income. As of the end of 2023, the company had 4,955 R&D personnel, marking an 18.6% increase compared to the previous year.
