Beijing (Gasgoo)- Recently, the "Together Win Future" themed Foton Brazil Conference 2024 was grandly held in São Paulo, Brazil. Marking a significant step in Foton Motor's Brazilian strategy, the Chinese truck maker officially launched a new commercial vehicle product line, dealer network, and service strategy for the Brazilian market.

As a crucial part of Foton's lean operation in Brazil, the company unveiled a new strategy, introducing four new models, including medium-duty trucks, light trucks, micro trucks, and pickups. These vehicles, rigorously tested, meet Euro 6 emission standards and feature advanced safety and performance technologies at highly competitive prices, catering to Brazil's diverse transportation needs.

The light trucks will be fully upgraded to the AUMARK S 315 model, based on Foton Motor's latest multi-energy shared platform technology. This platform accommodates multiple energy routes including oil-fuel, hybrid, pure electric, and hydrogen fuel, offering modularity, integration, and carbon reduction, thus achieving comprehensive improvements in reliability, efficiency, and safety.

Foton Motor also launched the TUNLAND V series full-sized pickup, featuring its latest diesel hybrid technology. With luxury sedan-grade double-wishbone multi-link suspension, luxurious interiors, and quiet performance, the series includes V7 and V9 models with distinct designs, injecting new vitality into the local pickup culture and offering customers a new lifestyle.

In addition, Foton Motor introduced the new micro truck brand WONDER and the new medium-duty truck model AUMAN D, representing the automaker’s comprehensive coverage of the urban logistics market in Brazil.

Foton Motor has clear and ambitious plans for its operational strategy. Beyond the current product line, Foton plans to introduce heavy-duty and ultra-heavy-duty trucks and more electric and hybrid commercial vehicles to the Brazilian market. The company also aims to strengthen its dealer network, expanding to 50 dealers by the end of 2024 and establishing over 100 dealers in the next five years.

With the booming business and growing product demand in Brazil, Foton Motor also plans to localize its production, leveraging local parts suppliers to build production plants in Brazil. This move aims to provide superior products and services to local and surrounding markets, contributing to the prosperity and development of the local economy.
