Automotive Intelligence Connection and Control (AICC) and iSoft Infrastructure Software (iSoft), a direct subsidiary of CETC, signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On June 17-18, the 1st China (Chongqing) Intelligent Vehicle Basic Software Ecosystem Conference and the 3rd China Automotive Chip Summit Forum and the Third China Automotive Chip Summit Forum were held in Chongqing. During the event, Automotive Intelligence Connection and Control (AICC) and iSoft Infrastructure Software (iSoft), a direct subsidiary of CETC, signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

Since December 2022, AICC, iSoft, the iSoft Vehicle Control Software and Hardware Collaborative Design Center, and the iSoft Vehicle Control Operating System and Chip Adaptation Center have all established operations in the Western (Chongqing) Science City.

Moving forward, both parties will focus on developing a computing platform for intelligent driving applications. Their collaboration will cover three main aspects, including joint development, industry applications, and market services. They will leverage research centers, testing platforms, and mass production application to accelerate the commercialization of intelligent driving products and support the development of the intelligent connected vehicle industry in Western (Chongqing) Science City.

Currently, AICC and iSoft are jointly building an open and innovative automotive software ecosystem. Their clients include over 70% of China's mainstream automakers, such as FAW Group, SAIC Motor, Changan Automobile, Dongfeng Motor, Geely, BAIC Group, and GAC Group, showcasing a wealth of project experience.

The core value of AICC's self-developed computing platform and development system (CBDES) lies in the decoupling of software and hardware, as well as the decoupling of functional and application software. It also features a graphical RCP development mode, providing automakers with atomic library-based reconstruction technology for efficiently developing core application algorithms, thereby enhancing development quality and efficiency.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
