[SMM analysis: in May, the domestic tin ore import volume continued to decline, and the import volume of tin ore from African countries decreased] In May, the domestic tin ore import volume was 8,400 tons (equivalent to 3,782 metal tons), a decrease of 18.28% from the previous month and 54.12% from the same period last year, which was 996 metal tons less than that in April. The cumulative import volume from January to May was 79,100 tons, a cumulative decrease of 14.49% year on year. In May, the domestic tin ingot import volume was 637 tons, a decrease of 13.22% from the previous month and 82.72% from the same period last year. The cumulative import volume from January to May was 7,263 tons, a cumulative decrease of 28.55% year on year.
