【Annual Output of 25,000 tons of Lithium Carbonate Recovery Production Line Officially Put into Operation】On June 18th, the kiln of the annual output of 25,000 tons of lithium carbonate production line of Aneng Ganfeng was officially put into operation. The total investment of the project is planned to be 7 billion yuan, and a 150,000 tons/year lithium carbonate production line will be built in three stages. Among them, the first phase of the annual output of 50,000 tons of lithium carbonate project with a total investment of 2.5 billion yuan is expected to be put into operation with materials in August this year. After all three phases of the project are completed and reach their designed capacity, the annual output value is expected to reach 15 billion yuan. The lithium carbonate project of Aneng Ganfeng, developed by Shanghai Aneng and Jiangxi Ganfeng Lithium Industry Co., Ltd., is a lithium carbonate processing section of the whole industry chain project signed by Linwu County and Shanghai Aneng, including lithium-containing polymetallic ore mining and beneficiation, lithium carbonate and lithium battery production.

India’s Industrial Growth Slows to 6.7% in July, but Steel Demand Remains Supported

India’s industrial activity continued to grow in July 2026, with the Index of Industrial Production (IIP) rising 6.7% YoY, compared with 8.8% in June. Although growth slowed, July recorded the second-highest IIP growth since December 2025, showing that industrial activity remained relatively strong. For the domestic steel market, manufacturing, capital goods and infrastructure remain important areas to watch as they are key drivers of steel demand.
