【Sodium ion battery energy storage demonstration project: Commencement ceremony of 100MW/200MWh sodium ion battery energy storage power station demonstration project in Honghu, Hubei Province】On June 15, 2024, Guangzhou Development held a grand commencement ceremony for the 100MW/200MWh sodium ion battery energy storage power station demonstration project in the Economic Development Zone of Honghu City, Hubei Province. Project address: Honghu, Jingzhou, Hubei Province. The first phase of the project plans to configure an energy storage capacity of 50MW/100MWh, and will adopt a 110kV voltage level to access the power system, build a new 110kV boosting station, and lay a 110kV line to connect to the Daxing substation. The final access plan will be determined according to the approval opinions of the grid company. The sodium battery cells are provided by Weike Technology.
