According to the SMM survey, the capacity utilisation rate of coking enterprises last week was 78.02%, up 0.04 percentage point WoW.

Looking ahead, the steel market is starting to accumulate inventory, and steel profits may further deteriorate, increasing the likelihood of pushing for lower raw material price. However, considering that downstream steel demand is currently moderate, the probability of a significant reduction in the operating rate of coking enterprises in the short term is low. Therefore, it is expected that the operating rate of coking enterprises will continue to remain stable this week.
