【SMM analysis: Limited production and decreasing inventory of primary lead smelters in May, will the output of electrolytic lead record negative year-on-year growth in the second quarter? (Attached is the inspection and production scheduling survey for May-June)】 According to SMM research, in May, the production of primary lead smelters was affected by the tight supply of raw materials. Due to the tight supply of smelting plant circulation goods and the significant fluctuations in lead prices, downstream companies have advanced the placement of long-term contracts. Multiple primary lead smelters have sold out their inventories, and lead ingot inventories have slightly decreased to 63,000 tons... Taken together, SMM predicts that the output of electrolytic lead in June may be maintained at 288,000 tons, and the output of electrolytic lead in the second quarter may decline compared to the same period last year...
