Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Lynk & Co, the car brand jointly owned by Geely and Volvo Cars, recently announced that its first all-electric vehicle model, the ZERO, will make its global debut on June 12. The new car will be produced on the same platform as the ZEEKR 001.

According to the official design sketches, the Lynk & Co ZERO features a new family-style design with daytime running lights consisting of four vertical lines, with the outer lights extending almost to the A-pillar. The front of the car continues to use a split headlight design.

The overall body shape is sleek, resembling a shooting brake and bears some resemblance to the ZEEKR 001. The new model is equipped with floating lights and incorporates LiDAR, indicating that it will come with an advanced intelligent driving system. Additionally, the car is fitted with Michelin sport tires, which are expected to maintain the handling performance of the ZEEKR 001.

The panoramic sunroof merges seamlessly with the rear window, and the distinctive rear light strip echoes the front daytime running lights' design. The rear also features a retractable spoiler, similar to that of the Xiaomi SU7, and the trunk is expected to offer substantial storage space.

In terms of interior design, the new car adopts a minimalist style, including a floating central control screen and a slim full-digital instrument panel. The steering wheel has a sporty design. As for the powertrain, details remain unknown.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
