Beijing (Gasgoo)- On June 5, NETA Auto, together with NXP, Hirain Technologies, and Wind River, jointly launched the integrated gateway domain controller, Haozhi Super Computing XPC-S32G.

The Haozhi Super Computing XPC-S32G serves as the "central nervous system" of a smart car's brain, supporting extensive vehicle upgrades and enhancing vehicle safety and control. This technology will be a core feature in NETA Auto's new models, starting with the NETA S, expected to be released in the second half of this year.

The Haozhi Super Computing XPC-S32G is built on NETA Auto's Shanhai Platform's scalable electronic and electrical architecture. It integrates NXP's high-performance S32G3 automotive network processor, based on Arm Cortex-M7 and Cortex-A53, with Wind River’s advanced RT-Linux operating system solutions. The system uses a service-oriented architecture (SOA) software framework developed with Hirain's extensive expertise in automotive domain control technology.

In line with the trend of software-defined vehicles, the Haozhi Super Computing XPC-S32G acts as the backbone network within the car, featuring nine core functions: central gateway, vehicle thermal management, battery energy management, power torque management, remote diagnostics, calibration, full data collection, SOA service gateway, edge computing, and OTA Master. It enables secure cross-domain data interconnectivity, robust automotive network security defenses, and efficient vehicle control management with minimal latency. Additionally, it supports future vehicle functionality upgrades.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
