Beijing (Gasgoo)- On May 29, BAIC Motor launched three new models, the U5 PLUS, the Mo Fang (BEIJING 5), and the new X7, and showcased the BJ40, BJ60, and BJ80 off-road models in Cairo, Egypt. This event also marked the opening of BAIC's first flagship store in Egypt.

The newly released models have been customized for the Egyptian market while maintaining BAIC's high-quality standards. The stylish U5 PLUS, technologically advanced Mo Fang, and premium X7, along with the robust BJ40, BJ60, and BJ80, highlight BAIC's diverse product range and capability to cater to various market segments.

Egypt, a key market in Africa and the Middle East, holds significant potential and is a crucial part of BAIC's international strategy. BAIC aims to deepen market research and precise positioning to enhance cooperation and exchanges with the Egyptian market, promoting mutual benefits in the automotive sector.

Additionally, from May 14 to 16, BAIC Motor launched the BJ40 PLUS and X55 models in Indonesia and Malaysia, marking another step forward in its global development. These models are designed specifically for right-hand drive markets.

This year, BAIC plans to collaborate with international partners to establish a comprehensive sales and service network across Indonesia and Malaysia. Furthermore, the company is advancing the construction of local KD (Knock-Down) assembly lines to bolster its presence in these markets.
