Energy storage battery cell prices still have downward room as the iteration of 300+Ah battery cells accelerated

In April, the average price of 280Ah square LFP energy storage battery cells was 0.38 yuan/Wh, down 8% MoM, versus 0.44 yuan/Wh for 100Ah square LFP energy storage battery cells, down 2% MoM.

In April, the average price of 280Ah square LFP energy storage battery cells was 0.38 yuan/Wh, down 8% MoM, versus 0.44 yuan/Wh for 100Ah square LFP energy storage battery cells, down 2% MoM.

According to SMM, as of the end of April, the theoretical cost of 280Ah energy storage battery cells was 0.341 yuan/Wh. In April, driven by the rising prices of LFP cathodes, copper and aluminum, the cost of 280Ah energy storage battery cells increased. However, due to the high inventory levels of battery cell companies and the persisting overcapacity in the industry, the prices of 280Ah energy storage battery cells fell. Looking ahead, although industry inventory declined, the prices of 280Ah square LFP energy storage battery cells may still have a downward trend amid the accelerated iteration of 300+Ah battery cells and intensified competition among enterprises.

Ruifeng New Energy to Invest RMB 24 Bln in Xuanhua AI Computing Power Center Project
On February 9, Ruifeng New Energy's official account announced that it plans to invest a total of approximately RMB 24 billion to construct an AI computing power center, accompanied by a 400MW/1.6GWh standalone ESS power station. This project, known as the Xuanhua Artificial Intelligence Computing Power Center, is the largest inference computing cluster park in North China. Located in the Xuanhua Economic Development Zone, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, the project will be constructed in five phases.
