On May 30th, with the long whistle sound, 10,550.98 tons of imported copper concentrate "GENAVA/Geneva" completed the radioactive testing project at Fangcheng Port and was directly delivered to the pilot enterprise Guangxi Jinchuan Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd. After passing the inspection of Fangcheng Customs, which is affiliated to Nanning Customs, it was released. This marks the successful implementation of the first pilot project in Guangxi to optimize the inspection and supervision mode of imported copper concentrates. Guangxi Jinchuan Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd., which enjoys the benefits of this pilot project, is a leading enterprise in the copper industry in our region. In March this year, with the approval of the Inspection and Quarantine Department of the General Administration of Customs, the first pilot project in Guangxi to optimize the inspection and supervision mode of imported copper concentrates was launched at Fangcheng Customs. Under the new supervision mode, imported copper concentrates are directly delivered to enterprises, and after passing the inspection items such as concealment/inclusion and harmful element detection, the enterprises can use them. The whole customs clearance process can save 3 days compared with that before optimization.
