NIO hits delivery milestone of 200,000 ES6 SUVs

On May 27th, NIO announced the delivery of the 200,000th unit of its mid-sized SUV, the NIO ES6.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On May 27th, NIO announced the delivery of the 200,000th unit of its mid-sized SUV, the NIO ES6.

As of the end of April 2023, the first-generation NIO ES6 had reached a cumulative delivery volume of over 127,000 units, while the second-generation ES6, launched a year ago, has recorded deliveries of over 73,000 units so far. The currently available 2024 model of the NIO ES6 hit the market in February this year, with four models available priced between 338,000 yuan and 396,000 yuan.

The existing NIO ES6 showcases the latest design language of the brand, featuring a sleek closed-off front grille and split headlights that blend simplicity with a sporty aesthetic. At the back, the vehicle is equipped with full-width taillights, adopting a straightforward overall design. The rear bumper's two-tone layered style adds a pronounced multi-layered visual effect to the rear end.

In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 4,854mm in length, 1,995mm in width, and 1,703mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,915mm. The NIO ES6 is built on the NT2.0 platform, with all variants featuring dual motors. The front motor has a maximum power of 150 kW, while the rear motor features a maximum power of 210 kW, providing a combined power output of 490 hp and a total torque of up to 700 Nm. Depending on the configuration, the battery options include 75 kWh and 100 kWh in capacity, offering CLTC-rated ranges of 490 km, 500 km, and 625 km.
