Beijing (Gasgoo)- AVATR, the premium new energy vehicle brand backed by Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, on May 27 revealed the color scheme for its upcoming AVATR 07 model, highlighting purple as its signature color.

The AVATR 07, the brand's third model, is a mid-size SUV offering both all-electric and extended-range powertrains. It is expected to feature Huawei's advanced intelligent driving system, the HarmonyOS smart cockpit, and CATL's ultra-fast charging battery. The new model is set to hit the market within 2024, with deliveries anticipated by the end of the year.

The designers at AVATR's Munich Design Center have integrated the purple hue into the elegant body design, giving the vehicle a futuristic and high-tech feel. This new color scheme reflects AVATR's forward-looking design philosophy, promising a luxurious and technologically advanced aesthetic experience for users.

In terms of exterior design, the AVATR 07 maintains the brand's signature design language, incorporating the AVATR 2.0 design concept. The body lines are smooth, and the front-end features dual-layer LED daytime running lights, enhancing the vehicle's futuristic appeal.

The vehicle's dimensions are 4,825 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,620 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,940 mm. Notably, the new model is expected to come equipped with Huawei's next-generation LiDAR on the roof, enhancing its intelligent driving capabilities.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
