Most sample silicon enterprises reported average order performance during the week, and inventory levels increased from a week ago.
Yunnan sample silicon enterprises (accounting for 30% of capacity) had a weekly output of 3,600 mt, with a weekly operating rate of 42%, flat from a week ago. Sample silicon enterprises maintained stable operations, with some non-resumed silicon enterprises preparing for raw material procurement, but overall, they remain cautious about the market, with most resuming production after June. In terms of inventory, some sample silicon enterprises focused on fulfilling orders, with slight inventory reduction.
Sichuan sample silicon enterprises (accounting for 32% of capacity) had a weekly output of 2,155 mt, with a weekly operating rate of 33%, up from a week ago. Some silicon enterprises in Sichuan resumed production, significantly increasing operating rates from a week ago. Recently, silicon enterprises in Sichuan, mainly in the Liangshan area, have gradually resumed production, while other areas in Sichuan remain cautious about the market. In terms of inventory, although sample silicon enterprises have adjusted quotations, downstream procurement remains on a restock-as-needed basis. Order performance during the week was average, with overall inventory levels remaining flat.
