Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymer (EVA) is a copolymer obtained by random copolymerization of ethylene (non-polar) and vinyl acetate (polar). EVA is an excellent and widely used material with important applications in packaging, construction, automotive, daily necessities, and other fields.

According to the latest data released by the customs statistics platform, in April 2024, China imported 90,088 mt of primary forms of Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymer (EVA), with a total value of 899,055,544 yuan, and a unit cost of 9,979.79 yuan. Compared to the previous month, the import quantity decreased by 3% MoM, and the unit import cost increased by 1% MoM. The import quantity decreased by 3% YoY, and the unit import cost decreased by 25% YoY.

Facing such market conditions, relevant enterprises need to closely monitor market dynamics, strengthen risk management, and formulate reasonable procurement and sales strategies. With the gradual recovery of the global economy and the continuous growth of domestic demand, the Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymer market is expected to usher in new development opportunities. However, market competition will also become increasingly fierce, and enterprises need to continuously enhance their competitiveness to adapt to market changes and challenges.

[SMM PV News] Armenia Hits 1.1 GW Solar Capacity,
Armenia’s cumulative solar capacity has surged to 1.1 GW following the addition of approximately 615 MW in 2025. This rapid expansion has pushed solar's share of electricity generation to around 15%, effectively meeting the country's 2030 target years ahead of schedule. The growth is heavily driven by a net-metering scheme supporting over 50,000 autonomous producers (totaling 650 MW), though the government ended loan subsidies for rooftop solar in July to shift focus toward battery storage.
