The 200,000 mt Lithium-ion Battery Scrap Recycling and Comprehensive Utilization Project Has Been Launched in Chenzhou, Hunan.

On May 21, the Environmental Protection Bureau of Chenzhou City, Hunan Province, issued a public announcement on the acceptance and approval decision for the "200,000 mt Lithium Battery Scrap Cascade Utilization and Comprehensive Recycling Project" by Hunan Xunyuan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.

The project has a production scale of processing 200,000 mt of lithium battery scrap annually, divided into three phases: the first phase processes 60,000 mt annually, the second phase processes 60,000 mt annually, and the third phase processes 80,000 mt annually. The total project area is 107,608 m², with the first phase covering 87,919.93 m², the second phase covering 15,282 m², and the third phase covering 4,406.07 m².
