This pricing was determined based on the number of pre-orders received during a crowdfunding campaign, said Chery. As of 8:30 PM on May 21, the Fulwin T9 had garnered over 50,000 orders.

The Fulwin T9 is available in both five-seat and seven-seat configurations. The vehicle measures 4,795 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width, and 1,738 mm (1,741 mm for the seven-seat version) in height, with a wheelbase of 2,770 mm.

Inside, the Fulwin T9 features a minimalist design with a dual-screen setup, including a 15.6-inch central control screen. The SUV is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and 5G gigabit Ethernet, along with an AI-powered smart voice assistant.

For comfort, the Fulwin T9 offers a driver's seat with six-way adjustment and four-way lumbar support, 10-point airbag massage with three modes, and three-level ventilation and heating for both the seat back and cushion. The front passenger seat features one-touch recline, 10-point massage, a leg rest with a maximum angle of 128 degrees, and a seat back with a maximum angle of 125 degrees. The second and third rows can be folded flat with a single touch, creating a 2.1-square-meter bed.

Under the hood, the Fulwin T9 is powered by a plug-in hybrid electric system that includes a fifth-generation ACTECO 1.5TGDI engine, delivering a maximum output of 115 kW and 220 N·m of torque with a thermal efficiency of 44.5%. The electric motor provides an additional 150 kW and 310 N·m of torque. World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
