[Large-capacity Sodium-ion Battery Energy Storage Station Put into Operation in Guangxi] On May 12th, according to the Guangxi Electric Power Department, on May 11th, a large-capacity sodium-ion battery energy storage station - the Fulin Sodium-ion Battery Energy Storage Station was completed and put into operation in Nanning, Guangxi. According to reports, the power station was invested and built by the China Southern Power Grid Guangxi Power Grid Corporation. The current production scale is 10 megawatt-hours. When the whole project is completed, the scale will reach 100 megawatt-hours, which can generate 73 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity every year, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 50,000 tons, and meet the electricity demand of 35,000 residents.
