[SMM Data] SMM News on May 9th: According to SMM research, as of Thursday (May 9th), the total inventory of zinc ingots in seven locations in SM is 212,900 tons, increasing by 1,300 tons compared to April 29th and decreasing by 3,400 tons compared to May 6th, showing a decline in domestic inventory. The inventory in Shanghai and Tianjin has decreased, mainly due to the gradual resumption of production by downstream industries after the holiday, leading to the replenishment of inventories. With normal arrivals at warehouses, the overall inventory has slightly decreased. The decrease in inventory in Guangdong is significant, mainly due to the maintenance of some smelters affecting shipment, resulting in few arrivals at warehouses. In addition, downstream industries are gradually replenishing their inventories, leading to a significant decrease in inventory. Overall, the inventory in the original three locations decreased by 2,500 tons, and the inventory in the seven locations decreased by 3,400 tons.
