【Short Sellers Strike at High Positions, Shanghai Zinc Prices Plummet】According to SMM's news on May 8th: The main contract 2406 of Shanghai Zinc opened at 23,450 yuan/ton. After the opening, short sellers struck at high positions, and Shanghai Zinc prices plummeted to around 23,190 yuan/ton with volatile movements. Later, as short sellers exited the market, Shanghai Zinc's price center slightly rose to 23,250 yuan/ton. In the afternoon, short sellers accelerated their exit, and Shanghai Zinc's price center rose to around 23,300 yuan/ton. As multi-positions reduced their holdings at the end of the trading day, Shanghai Zinc prices once again dipped to 23,065 yuan/ton, closing at 23,120 yuan/ton, down 155 yuan/ton with a decrease of 0.67%. The trading volume increased to 202,000 contracts...
