Beijing (Gasgoo)- On May 6, local time, Chinese smart energy turnkey solution provider Star Charge and Schneider Electric signed a framework agreement to restructure their joint venture in Europe focusing on charging and energy storage businesses.

Together, they aim to create a new model of Sino-French cooperation in the new energy industry, advancing Europe's transition to clean energy and elevating Sino-French comprehensive strategic partnership to new heights.

Both Star Charge and Schneider Electric will leverage their respective advantages in R&D, manufacturing, distribution, and services to concentrate on the European market. They will establish R&D and sales systems for electric vehicle charging equipment, photovoltaic inverters, energy routers, lithium battery storage, and other products to meet the European market's demand for environmentally friendly and efficient new energy technologies and solutions.

This collaboration will assist various sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, and utilities in achieving low-carbon and zero-carbon operations, thereby serving local economic development and green transformation.

The partnership will focus on planning and implementing carbon neutrality pathways, energy management systems, energy digitalization systems, and microgrid applications, promoting the transformation of digitalization and green low-carbon initiatives.

Founded in 2014, Star Charge is a high-value enterprise in the digital energy field and a leader in China's industrial manufacturing sector. The company specializes in the R&D, manufacturing, operation, and service of electric vehicle charging systems and intelligent microgrid systems.
