Ford China appoints Ai Xiaoming as President of Changan Ford

Ford China announced on May 6, 2024 that Mr. Ai Xiaoming has officially assumed the position of President of Changan Ford, reporting to the Board of Directors of Changan Ford.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Ford China announced on May 6, 2024 that Mr. Ai Xiaoming has officially assumed the position of President of Changan Ford, reporting to the Board of Directors of Changan Ford.

Mr. He Xiaoqing, the current President of Changan Ford, will officially retire on June 1, 2024. Before that, he will assist in the smooth transition to Mr. Ai Xiaoming in his capacity as a senior advisor.

With over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing and consumer electronics industries in China, Mr. Ai Xiaoming has held CEO and other senior executive positions in several Fortune 500 companies' operations in China over the past decade. His extensive experience and expertise in comprehensive enterprise management and operational transformation will help him lead the Changan Ford team to strengthen partnerships, continuously improve product quality and production capacity utilization, and accelerate Changan Ford's transformation towards electrification and intelligence.

Prior to joining Ford China, Mr. Ai Xiaoming held various senior management positions, including Senior Director at Alvarez & Marsal in Shanghai, CEO of GiantKONE Elevator, and President & CEO of Whirlpool China.

During Mr. He Xiaoqing's tenure as President of Changan Ford, he made outstanding contributions to the transformation and development of the joint venture business, performance improvement, and organizational operational efficiency. He played a crucial leadership role, particularly in leading Changan Ford from losses to profits for three consecutive years. Ford China expresses gratitude to Mr. He Xiaoqing for his contributions during his service to Ford China and its joint ventures.
